Spencers Travel Services Limited (SPENCERS) is a subsidiary of the 100-year-old Spencer's, coming under the retail sector of RPG group. SPENCERS was formed in October 2001 prior to that, it was known as Airline GSA Business Division of Spencer & Co Ltd. Since 1976, SPENCERS represents Cathay Pacific for Passenger and Cargo in South and East India and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines for Passenger in South India. Under the new leadership, it grew in size and spread across South and East India, representing more airlines - Northwest (1995) for Passenger in South India, and SriLankan (1992) for Passenger and Cargo for southern Kerala. In 2003, SPENCERS were appointed GSA for Qatar Airways Cargo for Chennai region. Passenger GSA was also accorded to SPENCERS by this airline for Coimbatore Region a small step, which needs to be carefully nurtured and developed into a major partnership. Qatar Airways was also rated high by Skytraxx magazine.

SPENCERS has 12 dedicated stand-alone offices housing a single airline, and 3 joint offices representing more than one airline. SPENCERS is often recognized for its professionalism, quality awareness and consistent all-round performance by its principals

Spencers has won the RPG Quality Award under service category for the year 98-99, 99-2000; and also runner-up in 2002-03. It has won TQP (Total Quality Performance) award from KLM for the ‘Middle East and South Asia’ region in 1999-2000; bagged 5 out of the 6 Outstanding Performance” Awards instituted by Cathay Pacific in South Asia for the year 2000; and, the best performing Cargo GSA for SriLankan’s entire network in 2000-01.
